Built amid a pine forest in the poltava region of ukraine, these individual guest houses were completed in just two months. conceived by local studio YOD design lab, each unit has been constructed using a light metal frame that – together with the remainder of the structure – weights only 2,200 kilograms. instead of typical foundations, the rooms are sited on timber decks that allow the structures to be readily positioned without harming the natural landscape. measuring 32 square meters, natural materials and finishes have been used throughout the scheme’s interior, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere.
