LIGHT GAUGE STEEL FRAME HOUSES
We are proposing you the best quality of materials at an affordable price. Here you will be able to follow the building process and find the proof for the standards of our company.
Basement foundation is with 40 cm thickness. Nylon is applied underneath. Within the price we include, kaloubi, reinforcement shara on 2 levels Y 12/15 quality. Concrete is with quality B500 C.Above the concrete after installation of electricity and plumbing pipes, we apply XPS polystyrene of 3 cm for damp insulation and on top – screed 10 cm with quality C25
For foundations under the level of the ground we apply the following insulations:
-
Flint coat
-
Bitumen felt 4 mm
-
Damp proof membrane – 5 mm
Skeleton of the construction
The skeleton of the construction is realized with light gauge steel frame with the technology of the company FRAMECAD from New Zealand.C sections with the following sizes are used for the different walls
Interior walls and between floor structure – C89mm x 41mm x 0.75mm and C89mm x 41mm
Exterior walls – C150mm x 41mm x 1.15mm
Steel is galvanized and ensures a long lasting skeleton with a life more than 100 years. The steel frame is installed and screwed to the concrete slab, construction process will take approximately 2-3 weeks. Galvanized steel structure does not get corrosion; therefore the security of the structure is more than 100 year. Weather conditions can not cause any contraction, distortion, splitting or twisting of the steel. Galvanized-metal structure is much more resistant to fire, keeping structural integrity longer. Contains no harmful chemicals for the maintenance of wood, and pesticides and ingredients which may cause allergies. Resistant to fungal attacks and does not require any expensive and toxic treatment against termites. In case of designs with big open spaces, may be would be required the use of heavy gauge steel columns.
Inside walls
Inside walls are made of:
-
Vidiwall by Knauf – Fiber reinforced gypsum boards – 12.5 mm thickness / Density 1250 kg/m3, Water vapour resistance factor μ ~ 18, Resistance to fire acc. to EN 13501-1 A2 s1d0
-
Steel frame structure 8.9 cm,
-
Inside the metal skeleton we use rock wool insulation 5 cm layer for thermal and sound insulation/Heat conductivity calculation value: λ = 0.040 W/m2K /

On the outside the facades can be finished with grafiato or paint according to the requirements of the customer
Between floor structure in case of 2 and more floor buildings
The structure of a 2 or more floor houses is presented by 40 cm trusses positioned every 40-50 cm which after that are covered with a metal deck A34/06. After installation of the electrical and plumbing pipes the between floor structure already covered with metal deck is finished with a layer of 7-10 cm concrete, on top of which we are already able to install parquet or tiles, according to the wishes of the customer. Between the floor trusses and the ceiling you will find a layer of sound and thermal insulation of rock wool – 5 cm /Heat conductivity calculation value: λ = 0.040 W/m2K /.
-
Trusses 40 cm positioned every 40-50 cm
-
Resilient tape for sound insulation

Rock wool sound and thermal insulation– 5 cm /Heat conductivity calculation value: λ = 0.040 W/m2K /.
Roof structure
As soon as the skeleton of the house is installed and depending on the design of the house, the roof will be closed according to the building specifications. Within the price proposed you have the choice of standard ceramic tiles for your roof / Portuguese and French type/ or a flat roof of light concrete covered with the required insulation. Underneath the roof you will find the metal trusses of 30-40 cm positioned every 40-50 cm which ensure the structural integrity of the roof which are covered with waterproof OSB / class 3/ and a layer of XPS fibran. Between the roof trusses and the ceiling you will find a layer of sound and thermal insulation of rock wool /Heat conductivity calculation value: λ = 0.040 W/m2K
Flat roof structure:
-
Trusses 40 cm positioned every 40-50 cm
-
Metal deck A34/06
-
Light Concrete 10 cm
-
Rock wool sound and thermal insulation– 5 cm /Heat conductivity calculation value: λ = 0.040 W/m2K / between the metal structure
